About me

I graduated from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, in June 2007 with a BA in Community Arts. Since then I have worked with TAG at the Citizens' Theatre Glasgow, East Ayrshire Council in partnership with Visible Fictions Theatre Company, East Renfrewshire Council and a number of community-based organistations as a drama tutor, youth theatre practitioner and community artist.

In January 2008 I took up the role of Community Arts Co-ordinator at Roding Valley High School Performing Arts College in Loughton, Essex where I initiated a number of creative projects, most notably Loughton Youth Theatre, run in partnership with St Mary's Loughton and Epping Forest Arts.

I have recently returned to my roots as a freelance drama and theatre practitioner, pursuing my intersts in directing and writing. In September 2011 I will be undertaking a two-year MFA in Theatre Directing at East 15 Acting School as well as working to establish Tribe Arts - a community arts organisation in Woodford, Essex and leading Wide Open Eyes - a youth theatre exploring issues of faith through performing arts in Loughton, Essex.
